1. Introduction

AIGPT ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website aigpt5.org and the AIGPT platform (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: When you create an account or purchase credits, we collect your email address and any other information you choose to provide.
  • Payment information: Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details. Stripe may collect billing address, card last four digits, and related payment data. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Communications: If you contact us via email or support channels, we retain the content of those communications.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: We record which AI models you use, token counts, timestamps, and associated costs for billing and service operation.
  • Device information: We may collect device identifiers, browser type, operating system, and IP address for security, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
  • Cookies: We use essential cookies to maintain your session. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

2.3 Conversation Content

Your prompts and AI responses are transmitted through our servers to the selected AI provider. We may temporarily cache conversation data for service delivery but do not store long-term conversation content for our own purposes. Each AI provider has its own data handling policies — see Section 5.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Service delivery: To process your requests, route them to AI providers, and deliver responses.
  • Billing: To track usage, calculate costs, process payments, and maintain transaction records.
  • Security: To detect abuse, prevent unauthorized access, and protect the integrity of the Service.
  • Improvement: To analyze aggregate usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve performance.
  • Communication: To send transactional emails (receipts, low-balance alerts) and, with your consent, product updates.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:

  • AI providers: Your prompts and relevant context are sent to the AI provider you select (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, etc.) to generate responses. Each provider processes data under their own privacy policy.
  • Payment processor: Stripe processes your payment data under their privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

5. Third-Party AI Providers

When you use the Service, your prompts are sent to third-party AI providers to generate responses. These providers include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, and DeepSeek, among others. Each has its own terms of service and privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies.

We select providers that offer API terms with data protection commitments (such as not using API inputs for model training), but we cannot guarantee third-party compliance. Use of the Service constitutes your acknowledgment of this data flow.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion for legal and accounting purposes.
  • Usage and billing records: Retained for up to 3 years for accounting, audit, and dispute resolution.
  • Conversation content: Not retained long-term. Temporary caches are purged regularly.
  • Device and security data: Retained for up to 12 months for fraud prevention.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure server infrastructure, and access controls. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to processing of your data for certain purposes.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our servers and AI providers are located. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
